Built in 1890 and bought by the owners' great-grandfather in 1918, the house has kept the memories, the people and the traditions of four generations.

Oryza: a tribute to the roots of the land
José Adelino da Silva, who lived here with his wife and daughters, had the largest rice farm of his day in the Lower Mondego. The house has never left the family.

A piscina fica entre as árvores, a poucos passos da porta do quarto. À volta há o pomar, a horta, mesas para comer ao ar livre e uma lareira exterior para quando a noite arrefecer.

Um corredor comprido de portas altas, tetos em estuque trabalhado, madeiras que já cá estavam antes de todos nós. A recuperação limitou-se a tratar delas.
